Luz y Vida 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon : Riverside, November 1, 2026
The event takes place at Ryan Bonaminio Park in Riverside to coincide with Dia de los Muertos. Distances offered are 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and a half marathon. The course uses a shared paved path and is an open course; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners and cyclists.
The route is marked and consists of out and back loops. Aid is located at the turnaround near the start and finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups and energy gels. Park restrooms are about 200–300 m from the start and finish area and are the only restrooms on course. Parking is available free in the park lot and on Tequesquite Avenue.
Race rules and logistics note that dogs are not allowed, strollers are permitted, and the half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; runners needing more time may request an early start from the organizer. Registration terms state no refunds and that transfers require organizer approval.
