March Magic is a run/walk event in Riverside offering multiple distance options on a marked, open shared-path course at Ryan Bonaminio Park, 5000 Tequesquite Ave., Riverside, CA 92506. Participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the shared path.
The course uses out-and-back loops that are easy to follow and will be marked. The specific loop formats are listed below.
- 5k out and back route
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start/finish area and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Park restrooms are 200–300 m (about a 5 minute walk) from the start/finish/check-in area; this is the only restroom on the course.
Participants are not allowed to run with dogs. Running or walking with a stroller is allowed. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; additional time arrangements can be made by contacting the event organizer. No refunds are offered; transfers are handled only through the organizer.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, posted results within 12–24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Race day registration is available with specified fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
