Reindeer Run 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Griffith Park
The Reindeer Run takes place in Griffith Park, Los Angeles on December 19, 2026. The event offers multiple distance options and uses a marked, shared trail that is open to other pedestrians, runners, and equestrians. The start and finish are on a grass area near the Merry Go Round lot (4730 Crystal Springs Dr), with parking in the large nearby lot.

- Half marathon 3 x 4.37 mi loop
The course runs primarily on a hard-packed dirt horse trail, with a brief street crossing. The route is marked with cones and signs; participants are asked to stay to the right and pass on the left. The turnaround is positioned off to the side of the trail. An aid station at the turnaround provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, post-race results posted within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; earlier starts may be arranged by contacting the organizer. Transfers are handled through the organizer and there is a no refund policy.
