Able2 Guts & Grit 5k & 1-Miler

Able2, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Chemung County region for over 75 years, will host the seventh Guts & Grit event on October 11, 2026 at Eldridge Park in Elmira, NY. The event offers two course options and is organized as a community fundraiser to support Able2's work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The distances offered include:

• 5K Run / Walk, 3.1 miles
• 1 Mile Walk / Run, 1 mile

Proceeds from the race and walk will support Able2 programs that help people develop talents, reach goals, and participate in their communities. Registration opens April 15, 2026 and online registration closes October 7, 2026. The registration fee listed is $25. Registering by September 18, 2026 qualifies a registrant to receive a free race T-shirt.
