Abington Fest 5K and Kids' Dash
The events are held as part of Abington Fall Fest in Abington Township. The program includes a community 5K and a kids' running event on park property.
- 5K: course through the Roslyn neighborhood, rolling up-hills in first half then downhill.
- 100 m Kids' Dash: on Marsden Soccer Field, limited to children under ten, medal for each child.
The 5K is described as starting and ending in Roslyn Park and running through the Roslyn neighborhood. Awards are given to top finishers in each gender category, and there is an award for first place finishers in each gender category who are Abington residents.
The Kids' Dash is held on the Marsden Soccer Field with staggered starts by age group. Every participating child receives a medal. There is day-of check in and registration for the races.
