Abington Festival of Running
Abington Festival of Running is held at Granta Park in Great Abington, Cambridge CB21 6GP, and is organised by the PTA of Great Abington Primary School to raise funds for the school. The event offers measured road race options and a family fun run across the park and nearby village streets.

The routes use the 120 acre Granta Park and nearby lanes along the River Granta. The 10 km course runs through Great Abington High Street, past the village recreation ground, across the river, through Little Abington and past school playing fields before returning to the park finish in front of the TWI plane. The 10 km route has little elevation; the 5 km is entirely flat and takes place within the park over two laps. The 2 km Fun Run follows a traffic-free route through the park and is suitable for all ages, buggies and wheelchairs.
Race services and rules include chip timing with integrated bib chips, a sustainable finisher medal for all finishers, trophies and mugs for top finishers, free parking, marshals, on-site first aid, water stations, a cake stall and bag storage. Team entries are accepted for the 5 km and 10 km with the top three runners counting toward a team total. Age minimums apply: 10 km 15+, 5 km 11+, 2 km 2+.
