A Stroll in the Park is an endurance running event on October 3, 2026 at Boling Park in Canton, GA. The event offers two time-based formats for tracking total distance over repeated laps.
The course is an approximate one mile crushed gravel loop with a grass shoulder. The surface is described as soft and free of rocks and roots; only fully completed laps count toward final mileage. Wet sections may occur in rain or snow. A chart showing the exact loop mileage and conversions to common race distances will be available at the event.
Facilities at the park include toilets near the path, shaded areas, and plentiful parking close to the course. There are no lights along the path, so a headlamp may be required around dark hours. Wearing gaiters is recommended. Packet pick-up is located at the park near the path.
One on-course aid station will offer drinks, cold and hot food, cookies, candy, and later in the day items such as pizza, soup, and grilled cheese; some vegetarian options will be included. Lap counting will use RFI technology with manual backup and on-screen progress tracking. The event policy specifies no refunds, transfers, rollovers, or deferments.
