A Snail's Pace x Saucony Sunset Relays
This event gathers teams for relay races at Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California on 10/10/2026. Music and food are part of the evening, and the event takes place under lights. All participating teams receive a post-race meal ticket from Birreria y Tacos Doña Betty.
Distances and team format include:
- 4x100m relay - four participants, 1 heat
- 4x200m relay - four participants, 1 heat
- 4x400m relay - four participants, 5 heats
- 4x800m relay - four participants, 2 heats
- 4x1600m relay - four participants, 1 heat
- DMR (4000m) - four participants, legs: 1200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m; 3 heats
Registration opens 03/26/2026 and closes 08/01/2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer include $42.50 for the 4x100m relay and $175.00 for the longer relays and DMR. Space is limited.
Heats are seeded by expected finish times; once heats are set, start assignments cannot be changed. Participants should check in with the clerk of the course no later than 45 minutes before their heat time and estimate expected finish time based on current fitness. Finishers receive a commemorative medal, and heat winners receive a special prize. Saucony will offer Endorphin shoes for demo. The race director may review and revoke winning times.
