A Snail's Pace x Saucony Sunset Relays
This relay-only track meet takes place on 10 October 2026 at Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California. The event runs as an evening meet with music and food and is open to all ability levels.
Events consist of team relays that require four participants per team. Heats are seeded by expected finish times and once set cannot be changed. Teams must check in with the clerk of the course no later than 45 minutes before their heat; missed call times cannot be accommodated. Space is limited.
Relay distances and heat counts
- 4x100m Relay - four participants, 100 m each, 1 heat, fee $42.50
- 4x200m Relay - four participants, 200 m each, 1 heat, fee $175.00
- 4x400m Relay - four participants, 400 m each, 5 heats, fee $175.00
- 4x800m Relay - four participants, 800 m each, 2 heats, fee $175.00
- 4x1600m Relay - four participants, 1600 m each, 1 heat, fee $175.00
- DMR Distance Medley Relay - legs 1200m 400m 800m 1600m, 3 heats, fee $175.00
Registration opens 26 March 2026 and closes 9 June 2026. All participants receive a post-race meal ticket for Birreria y Tacos Doña Betty and finishers receive a commemorative race medal. Winners of each heat receive a special surprise. Saucony will offer Endorphin line shoes available to demo. The race director reserves the right to review and revoke winning times.
