A Run for Chris 2026
This is the fifth annual 5K run/walk held on August 16, 2026 at Joe Sams Leisure Park, 752 Centre Road, Hamilton, ON, Canada. The event is offered in both in-person and virtual participation formats.
The run is held in memory of Chris and aims to raise awareness of mental health and addiction. Net proceeds will be directed to the Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. Funds raised so far total CA$2,387.38 toward a goal of CA$30,000.00.
Participation options and fees are listed for the event. The in-person 5K fee is CA$56.20. The virtual participant option is CA$40.02 and includes a shirt that may be mailed after August 16, 2026. A child price for the 5K for ages 4 to 12 is CA$40.02. Toddlers under 4 may join free with no shirt and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
