About the race
A Midsummer Night's Stream is a self-navigation trail race organized by Essex Trail Events, taking place on June 18, 2025, at The Farmhouse Inn, Monk Street, Thaxted, Essex. The approximately 6-mile course requires participants to follow a written route description without any markings, marshals, or GPS support. The event is not a mass start; runners choose staggered start times between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
