Event overview
A Child's World 5k, 1 Mile Walk, and Family Fun is scheduled for May 2, 2026 in Norman, Oklahoma at 3110 W Franklin Rd. The event is organized by Crossroads Youth & Family Services. Crossroads was founded in 1969 as the state's first emergency youth shelter and provides community-based programs for ages from birth to adulthood; its programs are described as nationally accredited and state-certified.

A virtual option and a donation-only option are available. The first 150 finishers will receive a medal. After the run there will be activities at the pavilion and information about Crossroads' programs and services.
Logistics
Packet pick up is available at the Crossroads Youth & Family Services office at 1333 W. Main Street, Norman, OK 73069; packets can also be picked up on race day. Race day registration will be available online only using a smartphone and a QR code, and payments are by credit card only. Registration pricing is noted to increase closer to the event.
