4th Annual 988 Run Out of the Darkness 5K/10K, Perkasie, PA
This community race is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026 in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Sponsored by the Perkasie Rotary Club and Free Will Brewing Company, the event benefits NAMI Bucks County, the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, which provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
The course uses Lenape Park and starts at the baseball fields off Walnut Street. The event is organized as a 5K loop in the park; 10K runners complete two loops. Runners may change their chosen distance until after the first loop. Runners who enter the finish chute after completing the first loop will be recorded as having run the 5K. Walkers are welcome but are limited to the 5K.

All participants receive a short sleeve technical shirt. Participants over the age of 21 receive a coupon for a free beer redeemable at Free Will Brewing. There is ample parking at the baseball fields, which are a short distance, under half a mile, from Free Will at 411 E. Walnut Street.
