Event Description
The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K is open to runners, ruckers, and walkers. Its purpose is to honor the heroes of September 11th and those who have served in the military and as first responders since that day. The event aims to unite communities and support local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
The organization partners with GORUCK to offer rucking divisions. Rucking is an activity where participants walk or run while carrying a weighted backpack, based on special forces training. All participants registered for a GORUCK division receive an exclusive TMF GORUCK patch for that year's event.
