9/11 Heroes Run - Canton, Georgia
The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K takes place on September 5, 2026 at Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114. The event welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served the nation since.
The program includes multiple 5K entry options, a dedicated ruck division, an Honor Bib Rider category, and a volunteer category. The ruck division is offered in partnership with GORUCK; participants registered in that division will receive this year’s exclusive TMF GORUCK patch.
Rucking is described as a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. The event aims to activate and unite communities and to support local veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and families of the fallen.
