9 Locks 10k Winter Challenge
The 9 Locks 10k Winter Challenge is a point to point running event covering 10k between Stourbridge and Brierley Hill. The route runs largely beside the canal with some trail sections and features a continual incline. Near the end participants encounter the nine Delph Locks.
The event uses seeded start times and chip timing, with a King of the hill element included in the timing. Participants receive goody bags and a medal, and prizes are awarded. Free parking and a coach transfer are provided. There are two entry options: a social entry at no cost and a running entry priced at £30 plus a £1.50 fee. Entry closes 26 November 2026 for the running entry and 29 November 2026 for the social entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
