6 Hours of Power (Alum Creek State Park)

The 6 Hours of Power is a timed loop event at Alum Creek State Park Marina in Lewis Center, OH on April 18, 2026. Participants run repeated 5K loops on a marked trail and mixed terrain course. All races start and finish at the marina and a single loop measures 5 kilometers with about 100 ft of elevation gain.

Official results record the total number of loops completed within six hours. A participant who completes at least four loops is recorded as having officially finished; the official race time for those finishers is the time they complete their fourth loop. The competitor who completes the most loops during the six hour period is declared the event champion.

Course markings include color coded flags, cones, and arrows. There is no water station along the route; aid station support is available at the Start/Finish before the next loop. Race registration includes a bib, finisher medal, and race sticker, plus timing and posted results with a points system and prizes. Event products from Hammer Nutrition are provided and the race is permitted under a special use authorization from Alum Creek State Park.

The park features shoreline and natural rock exposures where Alum Creek and other streams cut through Ohio shale. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
