15th Annual 5K Run, Walk & Roll with the Huskies
This community event in St. Joseph takes place across from Phil Welch Stadium and Bode Ice Arena on SW Parkway. The main course is a 3.1 mile loop that proceeds through SW Parkway, crosses the trail bridge over the Belt Highway, and returns past the Fairview golf course and Parkway.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) timed and untimed options
- 1 mile Fun Walk & Roll free to participate
Chip timing is provided by ShowMe Running Company with instant results and finish line photos. Awards will be given for first, second and third place for male and female participants in these age groups: 11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus. Parking is free and accessible and restrooms are available at Bode Ice Arena and Phil Welch Stadium. Water and snacks will be available at the start and finish area.
Registration fees are $35 on or before March 23, 2026 and $40 after that date. T-shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations by March 23; shirts may be picked up at a school pickup date to be determined, at the event registration table on race day, or sent home with students if requested. Dogs are welcome if friendly, leashed and vaccinated. Volunteers are welcome.
Proceeds support Helen Davis State School and the Helen Davis PTO, which is fundraising for a fenced sensory garden with raised beds, clear paths and sensory items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
