Long Island Cares presents the 4th Annual 5K & Paws Walk at Belmont Lake State Park on Sunday, September 21. The event is held rain or shine and combines a timed 5K route with a pet-friendly walk along scenic park paths.

The day includes a light breakfast, photo opportunities, and raffle prizes for both pets and people. Participants may enter raffles by bringing a non-perishable pet food item or a non-perishable human food item. T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration is available before the event.
Proceeds support Long Island Cares’ Pet Pantry and the organization’s hunger relief programs that serve both people and their pets.
