5K & Paws Walk 2026
The 5K & Paws Walk is a charity run and walk held on October 11, 2026 at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, New York. The event benefits Baxter's Pet Pantry at Long Island Cares, a program that provides pet food to families facing food insecurity.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Posted entry pricing shows an online total of $44.15 including processing fees and a race day total of $49.33 including processing fees. Ages 12 and under are free. Registered participants may receive a t-shirt while supplies last and can get a personalized bib if they register at least three weeks before the event.
The course is a two loop route around Belmont Lake State Park. Amenities listed include live online and text results and free finish line photos. Bibs are distributed by event staff on race day. Awards are given for top overall male and female finishers and for the top three in multiple age groups, with age brackets from 9 and under through 80 plus.
