About the race
The FallFest Fun Run at St John the Baptist in New Brighton takes place on September 26, 2026. The event is part of the parish FallFest and uses city streets for its courses. The start and finish are located in the church parking lot west of the building.
Two distances are offered:
- 5K (non-certified 3.1 miles) on city streets
- 1 mile on city streets
Individual entry fees are set with an early registration rate and increase after September 21. The organizer lists early entry amounts for individuals and notes that prices increase by $10 after September 21. Family discount tiers are available with fixed rates for groups registering together. Published family rates include:
- 1 mile family rates: Family of four $70, family of five $80, family of six or more $90
- 5K family rates: Family of three $80, family of four $100, family of five or more $120 Combined family entries for different races require a paper registration form to receive the discount.
Packet pick-up is available during FallFest on the Friday before the event and on race day, and same-day registration is offered. The event proceeds in all weather. Registered participants receive an SJB mesh swag bag and a Chick Fil A sandwich card; additional door prizes will be awarded. Medals are provided by age group for both distances.
