About the event
The 6th Annual 5k for the Kids takes place at Canatara Beach & Park in Sarnia, Ontario. This athletic event features a single distance for participants to complete:
- 5 km (run or walk)
The course is located along Lake Chipican Drive within the park grounds. Participants have the option to register as individuals or as part of a team consisting of 4 to 6 people. The event includes specific pricing categories for youth aged 12 and under, as well as for seniors aged 65 and over.
The primary purpose of this event is to raise funds and awareness for St. Clair Child & Youth Services. This organization is an accredited children’s mental health center serving infants, youth, and families from birth up to 18 years of age within Lambton County. The services provided by the center are free of charge to the local community.
