5K for the K9 Heros - Rehoboth, MA
The K9 PTSD Research Center hosts an official 5K event on September 27, 2026, at 148 Peck Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts. The course covers 3.1 miles through the countryside. Plenty of parking is available and dogs are welcome.
The day includes the Annual K9 Hero Awards, which honor live working K9s and their handlers. Entry for children under 12 is free. The standard registration fee is $30. The first 300 registrants receive an official race T-shirt.
After the 5K there will be additional activities, including live K9 demonstrations, a military demonstration, kids face painting, and food trucks. Event rules, full schedule information, and race details will be provided in advance of the event day.
Participation helps provide funding for the care, welfare, and support of K9 heroes who serve and protect communities. The event is presented as a family-oriented run and walk with supporting activities that highlight the work of working K9s. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
