5K/K9 Heroes in Rehoboth, Massachusetts
This event, hosted by the K9 PTSD Research Center, takes place on September 27, 2026 at 148 Peck Street, Rehoboth, MA 02769. It is an official 5K run/walk covering 3.1 miles through the surrounding countryside.
The course is in the process of certification through the National Track and Field Association, with review and approval expected to be completed by mid-July 2026. Parking is available near the start area. Dogs are permitted to accompany participants.
Registration information includes a fee of $25.00, kids under 12 may participate at no charge, and the first 300 registrants receive an official race T-shirt. Registration opens on May 4, 2026 and closes on September 27, 2026.
The day also includes the event's Annual K9 Hero Awards and a program of activities after the 5K, such as live K9 demonstrations, a planned military demonstration with details to follow, kids face painting, food trucks, and additional family-oriented activities.
