5K for Futures & Color Fun Run
The event takes place in Durant at the Boys & Girls Club of Durant, 415 North 5th Avenue, Durant, OK 74701, on August 29, 2026. It includes a color splash experience in which participants are doused with brightly dyed water and powder at several color stations and finish with a final color celebration.
Distances:
- 5K officially measured and USA Track & Field certified course through the heart of Durant.
- 1-mile Color Fun Run classic designated 1-mile course.
Proceeds benefit the programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Red River Valley Oklahoma. Registration includes a t-shirt and one color packet; additional color packets are available for $2 each. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations submitted after August 14.
Awards for the 5K are given to Overall Male and Overall Female, and 1st through 3rd place for male and female in age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. The Fun Run awards 1st through 3rd place for male and female with no age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
