5K for FCA 2026
The event takes place on Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labor Day) at Chattanooga State Community College, Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN. It is presented by Front Runner Athletics and organized with Chattanooga FCA.
The race also serves as the 2026 RRCA 5K Championship and raises funds for the local Chattanooga Fellowship of Christian Athletes ministry, which is present in over 60 area middle schools, high schools, and colleges.
Distances:
- 5K for runners and walkers
- 1 mile for 6-11 year olds (Junior Marathon)
- 1K for kids 5 and under (Kiddy K)
Cash prizes are listed for overall 5K winners: 1st place $200, 2nd place $100, 3rd place $50. Award categories include 1st place Open male and female, Masters male and female, Grand Masters male and female, plus age group awards for male and female divisions in the following ranges: 10 and under; 11-13; 14-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-over; 80-over.
