5K for FCA : Chattanooga
The event on September 7, 2026 takes place at Chattanooga State, 4501 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN. The main race is a 5K that follows the Chattanooga State campus and sections of the Tennessee RiverWalk. The event includes separate children’s distances.
- 5K: Course on Chattanooga State campus and parts of the TN RiverWalk.
- Kiddy K: 1K for children 5 years and younger; strollers permitted; parents may accompany.
- Junior Marathon: 1 mile for ages 6–11 counting toward the Chickamauga Battlefield Junior Marathon; each participant receives a prize.
Cash prizes are announced for overall finishers: 1st place $200, 2nd place $100, and 3rd place $50. Award categories listed include Open, Masters, and Grand Masters for male and female finishers. Age-group awards for male and female participants are noted as coming soon.
The organizer lists opportunities to sponsor the race, volunteer at packet pickup and on course, or participate by running or walking in support of FCA’s ministry in local schools.
