5K for FCA 2026
5K for FCA 2026 takes place at Chattanooga State Community College on Monday, September 7, 2026, coinciding with Labor Day. The event is presented by Front Runner Athletics and organized with the Chattanooga Fellowship of Christian Athletes to raise funds for the local FCA ministry, which serves in over 60 area middle schools, high schools, and colleges. This race also serves as the 2026 RRCA 5K Championship.
Cash prizes are awarded to overall finishers: 1st place $200, 2nd place $100, and 3rd place $50. Award categories include Open Male, Open Female, Masters Male, Masters Female, Grand Masters Male, and Grand Masters Female. Age group awards for male and female racers are offered in the following ranges: 10 and under (2), 11-13 (2), 14-18 (2), 19-24 (2), 25-29 (2), 30-34 (2), 35-39 (2), 40-44 (2), 45-49 (2), 50-54 (2), 55-59 (2), 60-64 (2), 65-69 (2), 70-over (1), and 80-over (1).
Sponsors are acknowledged at multiple levels, including a presenting sponsor and gold and silver sponsors. The event offers separate youth races and a 5K for runners and walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
