51fiver Cotswold Standard Distance Triathlon 2027
The 51fiver Cotswold Standard Distance Triathlon takes place at Lake 32 in the Cotswold Water Park near Cirencester on 16 May 2027. The event offers a standard distance triathlon and an aquabike option.
The triathlon begins with a one-lap 1500 m swim in Lake 32, followed by a nearby transition and a 40 km bike course through local villages including Ewen, Kemble, Crudwell, Charlton, Minety and Ashton Keynes. Roads on the bike route are reported to have good surfaces and include long stretches suitable for sustained speed.
The run is a single lap of approximately 10 km, entirely on tarmac and described as pancake flat. These course characteristics are used for both individual triathlon competitors and aquabike entrants; the aquabike follows the same swim and bike legs, with the race time recorded at transition after the bike.
Race organisation features chip timing with splits, live-to-web results, on-site catering, race photography, and medals and finisher goodies. A partner offers training plans with a booking discount.
