5000m Time Trial Night - Lovelock Track, Auckland
The event is a 5000 metre time trial held at the Lovelock Track in Auckland. The track will be lit, and a group of pace runners will be available at a range of target speeds. Participants meet at the Lovelock Track and will be organised into time-trial heats.
Organisers request that participants supply a measured 5000m personal best from a prior event when registering; acceptable examples include parkrun, a 5 km race, or previous official time trials. The newly rediscovered Owai Time Trial Cup will be awarded on the night for the largest percentage improvement on an official 5000m personal best.
