5 Peaks - Weaselhead
This event is the fifth and final race of the Central Alberta 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, held on the last weekend of September at Weaselhead Flats in southwest Calgary. The course runs through the Weaselhead Natural Area, a 237 hectare park featuring hard pack and singletrack trails and a variety of wildlife and plantlife. The route highlights autumn foliage in the park.

- Kids - 1 km
- Kids - 3 km
- Sport - 7.6 km
- Enduro - 14.0 km
Maps showing route, elevation gain and loss, and aid station locations are provided for each distance. Race distances and maps may change based on trail conditions up to the day of the event. Sport and Enduro entries allow running or hiking and use self-seeded waves.
Logistics and rules: packet pick up is available the day before at the Strides store and onsite on race morning. The 1 km kids entry is free and is signed up for the morning of the event. Dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not allowed on course. Washroom facilities are available at the start and finish area. There is parking in the Weaselhead Flats lot and on street. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drinks are available at the start, finish, and one or more aid stations. Swag and finisher medals are not included in individual registration and are sold separately. Awards and medals are presented to top finishers by gender and age category and must be picked up at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
