The course includes significant climbs, technical sections, and flowy singletrack. Loops run through lower and upper trail sections, providing multiple points where participants can see each other and return to the start/finish area located at the main stadium, which includes a DJ setup.
Safety and restrictions on course: no dogs, no headphones, no strollers or baby joggers, and no nordic walking poles. Carrying bear spray is required for Sport, Enduro, and Grit participants. Children in the 1 km and 3 km races are not required to carry bear spray; additional volunteers who carry bear spray will assist on those courses.
Logistics: washroom facilities are available at the start/finish area. Park in the main or overflow lots near the Day Lodge. A Kananaskis Pass is required for the day and is not included in registration. Spectators are welcome.
Aid stations and awards: the event is cup free. Water and electrolyte drink are available at the start/finish and at one or more aid stations on course. Optional finisher medals may be pre-purchased or bought on site while supplies last. Awards are presented after results are compiled and must be picked up at the event.
