11th Annual 5-O 5K Donut Run/Walk
The 11th Annual 5-O 5K Donut Run/Walk takes place in Collinsville, Illinois on July 25, 2026. The event is presented by McLanahan Towing & Collision and TekLab Inc., and is hosted at the Collinsville Police Department, 200 West Clay Street.
The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes a junior division. The route includes three donut and water stations; the event description notes that each donut eaten reduces a participant's time by one minute. Timing services are provided by Toolen's Running Start.
All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Illinois. Awards include trophies for the top female and top male and medals for the top three participants in each age category for female and male.
The course follows the previous year's route and begins with a few hills before flattening out. Nearby parking areas include lots at Clay Street and Center Street, Main Street and Seminary Street, and the 300 block of West Clay Street. Registrations received by July 10 at noon will receive a race T-shirt; registrations after that date will not receive a race T-shirt.
