4 Town 5k - Somers, CT
The 25th annual 4 Town 5k takes place at the Four Town Fairground in Somers, Connecticut on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The event is a single 5k (3.1 miles) race that begins and ends inside the fairgrounds. Registration is online only and the stated entry fee is $35; registration includes a collectible Bumpa Built finisher medal, a T-shirt, and complimentary admission to the Four Town Fair.
The course is USATF certified (CT19030JHP). It is described as generally flat with two short inclines and few tangents. Runners must stay to the right of the double-yellow center lines; traffic cones may mark portions of the route. A 45-minute time limit applies to complete the course. Water is provided at the halfway mark and at the finish.
Timing is fully automatic using an RFID chip attached to the bib, and published results use gun time. Bibs are assigned at arrival and must be worn on the front. Jogging strollers are permitted when the child is registered and wears a DOT approved helmet. Pets are not allowed. Parking is available at the Four Town Fair.
