4 Our Freedom 5K
The 4 Our Freedom 5K takes place at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Virginia. This event is held on a championship cross country course situated on a privately owned 850-acre farm. The venue is located approximately six miles from the University of Virginia grounds and has hosted numerous collegiate championships, including the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 5 km Run/Walk at Panorama Farm
- 5 km Youth Run (specifically for participants under age 16)
- 5 km Virtual Run (this option does not include an event t-shirt)
The event serves to honor military service and sacrifice, providing support for local veterans and their families. The race site includes a designated vendor area featuring veteran-owned businesses, support organizations, and sponsors. Participants who register early are eligible to receive an event t-shirt, though sizes are subject to availability.
A packet pick-up service is organized on the day before the race at ACAC Albemarle Square. Proceeds from the event are directed toward programs and initiatives for the military community managed by Living Free Together. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
