4 on the Fourth - Woodbury
The event is held on July 4 at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury, Minnesota. It features a main running race on a paved trail and a separate kids run around the park.
The main course is a 4-mile lollipop-style route that heads north along paved trails, passes the Wilms Lake rollers, climbs a hill near Summit Pointe Park, and returns to Colby Lake Park through a tunnel. A finish line reception is provided after the run.
A Kids 1K run loops around Colby Lake Park, starts and finishes at the same location as the 4-mile race, is untimed, and awards a wooden finisher medal to every child finisher.
Event logistics include registration fees of $30.00 for the 4-mile race and $10.00 for the Kids 1K. The event operates cashless; day-of registration is handled online and requires a credit card and a cell phone.
