Event Overview
This event offers two races: a main 4 on the Fourth run and a Kids 1k Run. Both events take place at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury, Minnesota, on July 4th.
Courses
The main 4 on the Fourth race is a 4-mile run on a paved trail loop. The route starts and finishes at Colby Lake Park and follows a "lollipop-style" course, passing near Wilms Lake and Summit Pointe Park. The Kids 1k Run is a 1-kilometer event on a paved loop trail within the same park.
Additional Information
Packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM on race day. The event is cashless, and day-of registration must be completed online using a credit card and mobile phone. There are no aid stations on the course, so runners must bring their own water and nutrition. Timing is by gun time, using chips on the race bibs. Bibs must be worn visibly on clothing. Post-race activities include music and light snacks. An awards ceremony for the top three overall male and female finishers is scheduled to follow the race.
