The event takes place on July 4, 2026 in SouthPark, Charlotte, NC (4325 Barclay Downs Drive, 28209). It is presented by Novant Health and includes two race distances:
- 4 Miler
- Kids Mile
Logistics
Registration fees listed on the event page are $35 for the 4 Miler and $25 for the Kids Mile; fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Packet pick-up is available at multiple neighborhood locations the day before the event and on-site on race day. Free parking is available at SouthPark Mall. The course is chip timed and results are provided via QR code at the finish. There is one water stop on course and porta-potties at the start/finish area. There is no bag check service. The stated time limit for the 4 Miler is 1 hour 15 minutes. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Strollers or baby joggers are permitted and may receive a separate start if needed. Medical services at the start/finish are provided by Novant Health partners.
Competition and awards
Age group divisions are listed from 12 and under through 75+. The top three males and females in each division receive awards. An awards ceremony is scheduled about 30 minutes after the first finisher; unclaimed awards must be picked up locally. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
