3H Trail Half Marathon + DHRT 50K
The event takes place on 08/07/2027 in King George, Virginia, on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. It features two distances on a rails to trails corridor that is mostly flat and smooth.
- 13.1 Miles half marathon, time limit 4 hours.
- 50K Dahlgren Heritage Rail Trail 50K, time limit 8 hours.
Both courses are out and back and described as scenic. Some sections include roots and bog boards; participants should use extra caution in those areas. Finishers receive a choice of a tank top or a t shirt and a finisher's medal. Free MooThru ice cream is provided for finishers. The event also lists cash prizes and on site food.
