33 Ultra
The event takes place on April 17, 2027, in Odell, Nebraska, with a base address at 500 Lincoln St. The course runs between the Odell NE Methodist Church and the Ellis NE Methodist Church and is mostly on country and gravel roads with a small amount of paved surface. The event is non-competitive and untimed; each finisher receives a medal. The organizer frames the event as an offering to Jesus and includes time for meditation and prayer.
Distances offered include:
- 33 miles
- 13.1 miles
- 10K (6.21 miles)
- 3.3 miles
- 1 mile
- Virtual option
Options include running, walking, a bike entry for the 33 mile course, and 2-4 person relays for the half marathon and the 33 mile distance. A kids 1 mile run is included with no cost for participants because a sponsor covers the registration fee.
Participant packets include a T-shirt, bib number, safety pins, maps and information, a medal, a meal ticket, and additional items. People can gather at the Diller-Odell High School to wait for the final ultra runner and join the last mile through Odell. After participants arrive, there is a gathering in the Odell Community Building with a free will donation meal, fellowship, worship, and testimonies. Registration by April 1 guarantees a T-shirt on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
