300 Oaks Road Race
The 300 Oaks Road Race is the 46th annual running event held in Greenwood, Mississippi, with the main venue at 200 E Claiborne Ave. The event features multiple distances and courses that travel through several areas of the city, including the historic downtown area, shaded residential streets, and the RailSpike Park trail on the 10k course.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 10k run
- 5k run
- 5k walk
- 1-mile fun run
Teams are accepted for the 5k walk and the 10k run; teams of five or more qualify for a team discount. An after party is held at the park between the bridges on the Yazoo River near the finish line, with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, cold soft drinks, water, and beer available.
