Event overview

The 3 Counties Trail / S. Luachra takes place in County Cork on Sunday 5 July 2026. The main course distance is 11.50 km with an optional short course of 5.00 km. The total climb for the main route is 300 m. The event is part of the Coillte Summer/Autumn Trail League, Munster. The route is fully marked and the use of GPS devices is not allowed.

Kit and rules

Mandatory kit level is A - basic. A showerproof, windproof jacket must be carried during the race; failure to carry required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification. Parking is at the Knockacummer Wind Farm location in Rockchapel, Co. Cork. No formal entry details are posted yet; entries for league events usually open a couple of weeks before the event.
