24hr Prevail Run - Yarm
The 24 hour Prevail Run in Yarm takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 on private farmland by Butts Lane, Egglescliffe Village, Yarm TS16 9DA. Entry is limited to 100 places and the event supports Everymancan, a mental health charity.
The format requires participants to run one 6.7 km trail lap on the hour, every hour, for up to 24 hours. Runners must finish each lap within the hour to continue; missing a start, finishing late, withdrawing, or being medically pulled ends a participant’s race. Time between laps may be used for rest and recovery.
The loop is 100 percent trail and includes rolling fields, tracks and natural terrain that skirts the River Tees. The course can feature mud, roots, ruts and November weather, with a mix of runnable sections and technical challenges that reward pacing and consistency.
The event is aimed at trail runners, ultra runners, new endurance athletes seeking structure, and anyone who wishes to support mental health advocacy. Organisers describe a tight knit community atmosphere with hourly encouragement and shared purpose.
Mandatory kit includes trail shoes, a phone, a water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, a headtorch for night running, a whistle and a foil blanket. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
