The 2026 22 Degree Run & Plunge is scheduled for January 24, 2026 at Walker Park in Brightwaters, NY. The on-site event includes a 2.2-mile run/walk and a Polar Plunge in the Great South Bay. A virtual 2.2-mile option is available with an upload window for times and photos from January 24 to February 1.

Registration and race items
Registration options include individual run, plunge, combo, and virtual entries. Run registrations include a long sleeve tech shirt unless the participant selects the "No, thanks" shirt option. Plunge registrations include a mug while supplies last. Some registration tiers offer bundled pricing and reduced fees when opting out of a shirt.
Course, amenities and logistics
The run/walk course is described as a flat 2.2-mile route through Brightwaters. There will be no water stop on the course. On-site amenities include hot beverages and food, a large heated tent, changing stations, portable toilets, and energy drinks. Pre-race bib pickup is available the day before at Wohseepee Park Cabin and on race day at Walker Park. Bib mailing and swag shipping details are provided for virtual and mailed participants.
