Event overview
The 2 Parks Trail Run takes place at Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, Michigan, with the start and finish at the Timber Ridge Pavilion. The course runs from Addison Oaks to Bald Mountain and back. The main loop is about 15K (approximately 9.3 miles) on a mix of single-track and wider dirt trails. The 30K distance completes two loops. A 1.5-mile stretch of dirt road connects the two parks (.75 mile each way). A new 4 Mile course runs entirely inside Addison Oaks. The event is capped at 300 entries. Parking is free. A 5.5 hour time limit applies to the longer distances.
Registration, services and rules
Registration includes a Next Level soft short sleeve shirt, a wooden finisher medal, one reusable HydraPak cup, aid stations, and a post-race party with wrap sandwiches and chips. The race operates as a cupless event: one cup is provided at check-in and runners may reuse it at aid stations; additional cups are available for purchase. Packet pick up is available at the start/finish area on race day. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Addison Oaks will close its mountain bike trails to bikers on race day; Bald Mountain remains open to all. Camping options are available at Addison Oaks.
