2 PARKS TRAIL HALF MARATHON AND 5K
The 2 PARKS TRAIL HALF MARATHON AND 5K takes place on May 2, 2027 at Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, Michigan. The event offers trail courses that now include a half marathon route linking Addison Oaks Park and Bald Mountain and a 5K route contained within Addison Oaks Park. A Half Marathon Ruck is offered as a separate event; ruck participants receive a commemorative patch and the ruck has a set time limit.
The course uses a new trail that links the two parks via a crossing of Lake George Road; participants should be aware of vehicular traffic at that crossing. Parking at the park is free. Mountain bike trails at Addison Oaks will be closed to bikers on race day; Bald Mountain trails remain open to multiple users. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Registration benefits listed for participants include a choice of a Next Level soft short sleeve unisex shirt or an upgraded tech shirt, a finisher medal, a reusable cup, aid stations, event photos, and a post-race food offering. Shirt orders are placed on April 20 and sizes are not guaranteed after that date. The event is capped at 300 entries. Awards are given for overall and masters winners plus top three in standard age categories; the half marathon ruck receives a ruck patch. Packet pick up is available at the start/finish area inside the Lake Lodge building. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
