The event is based at 620 Broad Street, Central State Hospital Pecan Grove, Milledgeville, GA 31062. The 5K course runs entirely inside the Central Hospital Campus on paved roads. The course will have a slight modification this year due to construction on the campus.
Registration, logistics and awards
Standard registration for each event is listed as a $25 race fee plus a $3.15 sign-up fee; the fee increases to $30 plus a $3.44 sign-up fee after January 19, 2026. Race day includes on-site registration and packet pickup in the Pecan Grove. Start times may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area; there are no refunds due to inclement weather. Finishline management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services, and the event is part of the Black Bag Race Series. Awards are presented to overall and masters male/female finishers and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in 5-year age groups from 10 and under through 80 and over.
