Format, distances and awards
- 4 km loop course used for each lap.
- 12 km total for individuals (three 4 km loops).
- 8 km and 4 km splits for the 2-person relay (one person 8 km, one person 4 km).
- 4 km per person for the 3-person relay (each does one loop).
Individual age groups have awards in these categories: 10 and under; 11-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Team awards are given to the top three teams in each division for 2- and 3-person relays.
