Event Overview
This is the fourth annual 10K With A Cop, a community fun run and walk in Modesto, California. The event celebrates the accomplishments of over 1,000 youth who have been training within the 10K With A Cop program to complete a 10 km run. The event is open to the public.
Distances
Participants can choose from three distances:
- A 5 km run.
- A 10 km run.
- A free 2 mile (approximately 3.2 km) fun run or walk.
The 5 km and 10 km races start first, followed by the 2 mile event. All routes start and finish in downtown Modesto.
Registration and Details
Registration for the 5 km and 10 km costs $40.00 and includes a race t-shirt and a 3-inch finisher medal. The 2 mile community fun run or walk is free. The first 500 pre-registrants who complete the 2 mile distance receive a free 2-inch finisher medal; t-shirts for this distance are available for purchase on race day.
A race day expo opens before the start. The event has listed sponsors, including Project Blue, Modesto Police, and SaveMart.
