US Road Running - Owasso
The US Road Running event in Owasso, Oklahoma, features a series of races held on an asphalt surface. This event is part of a larger running series and provides participants with a structured environment to complete specific distances on a recurring loop. Restroom facilities are available for use near the baseball field adjacent to the course.
The race follows a loop course measuring 1.036 miles. Depending on the chosen distance, participants complete this loop multiple times. The following distances are available:
- 5K: This distance requires three full loops of the course.
- 10K: This distance requires six full loops of the course.
All participants have a course time limit of two hours to complete their respective distances. Registration must be completed online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the event begins. Every runner who crosses the finish line receives a finisher medal. Participants often take part in a local costume contest, and runners can also earn series points through their placement and participation.
