Event overview

The Medal Madness 5K & 10K at Midlothian, VA takes place on May 30, 2026, at Midlothian Mines Park, 13301 N Woolridge Rd, Midlothian, VA 23114. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Participants are asked to meet at the Headstock next to Loch Lothian.

Course and race details

The event includes the following distances:

5K
10K

The course is an out-and-back route. The 5K runs the course two times and the 10K runs the course four times. There is a course time limit of 2:00 hours. All finishers will receive a themed medal. A Best Costume award is given; wearing a costume is optional and the award is mailed after the race. The race earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series.
