US Road Running - Akron

Pirate 5K, & 10K at Akron, PA (16)
This event offers two measured road race distances at Loyd H Roland Memorial Park in Akron, PA. The course is paved and laid out as an out and back route. The 5K completes the loop twice and the 10K completes it four times; both races have a two hour time limit.
Packet pickup is available on race day shortly before the start and closes shortly before the start. All entrants must register in advance on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Bathrooms are located at the pavilion by the starting line.
All finishers receive a themed medal. Costumes are encouraged but not required; a group photo is taken at the beginning of each race and a best costume award is presented at that time. The race awards points toward the US Road Running Race Series.
