Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Akron, Pennsylvania, takes place at Loyd H Roland Memorial Park. This athletic gathering is part of the US Road Running Race Series and offers participants the opportunity to earn series points. Course Details
Both race distances are conducted on a single paved out-and-back course with a strictly enforced time limit of two hours.
- 5K: Participants complete the course two times.
- 10K: Participants complete the course four times.
The starting line is located near the park pavilion, where bathroom facilities are available for participants. All runners must register through the designated online portal, as there is no registration available at the venue on the day of the event. Packet pickup is scheduled at the site shortly before the activity begins.
Participation and Awards
While it is not a requirement, participants are encouraged to wear costumes for the event. A group photograph is taken before the start, and an award is presented for the best costume at that time.
