US Road Running - Tarpon Springs

Pirate 5K and 10K at Tarpon Springs

Part of the US Road Running series, this event takes place at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The race features a pirate theme and utilizes a specific out-and-back course layout for its distance options. All participants are required to complete their registration through the RunSignup platform before the event, as no on-site registration is available.

Available distances include:

• 5K (Completed by running the out-and-back course three times)
• 10K (Completed by running the out-and-back course six times)

The course is designed as an out-and-back loop measuring approximately 1.04 miles per lap. Participants must adhere to a strict course time limit of two hours for both distances. Race packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the event start and concludes 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the race.

Event parking is located adjacent to the restrooms and pavilion 6 within the park grounds. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, as a best costume award is presented at the beginning of the race. All finishers receive a themed medal upon completing their chosen distance, and participants can earn points toward the US Road Running series.
