10,000 Meter on Van Meter
This event takes place on September 26, 2026, at Kroger Youth Soccer Complex, 2583 Van Meter Rd., Winchester, Kentucky. The course is an out-and-back on asphalt through rolling hills in Clark County. Two distances are offered:
- 10K
- 5K (walk only option)
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in both the 10K and the 5K. Additional prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group for both distances. Age groups are 11 and under; 12-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over.
Registration fees noted are $30.00 for the 10K and $25.00 for the 5K. Registration opens April 30, 2026; registration close date is listed as August 1, 2026. Registering by August 28 is noted as the deadline to secure desired shirt sizes. Participants receive a free T-shirt and complimentary fruit, snacks, water and coffee.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled on the Friday before the event at College Park in Winchester during the Rally4Recovery event, where a registration table will be available.
