1 Day for the K.I.A. 12 Hour Endurance Run
The event is a timed endurance run held at The Ohio State University Oval in Columbus, Ohio. The main format is a 12-Hour endurance run during which participants have exactly twelve hours to cover as many miles as they can. Runners may rest, eat, leave and return, or stop at any time; the event records total distance covered within the twelve hour period.

Registration options include solo entries, sponsored solo, and multi-person teams with separate virtual and in-person categories. Registration fees vary by entry type; race registration fees are used for race and organizational operational expenses, while donations beyond registration are directed to the Living Legacy Scholarship. Sponsored runners obtain per-mile pledges from donors; sponsored funds and other specified contributions go to the scholarship endowment. Participants who register as sponsored runners are required to set up a fundraising page during registration.
Race registration includes a race packet with a t-shirt, bib, and medal. The 10K entrants receive a t-shirt. The 1DK trophy is awarded exclusively to participants in the 12-Hour endurance run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
