Events and Distances
Five events are offered, each with different distances and formats.
- 8K Run: A 4.96-mile run combining paved and trail surfaces.
- 5K Run/Walk: A 3.1-mile out-and-back event on paved surfaces.
- .8 Mile Kids' Race: A 0.8-mile (1.29K) run/walk on a flat, paved trail within the park for ages 1-12.
- 0.8 Mile Walk: A virtual walk where participants choose their own course.
- 0K Run/Walk: A stationary, non-active event.
Course Information
The main events take place at Locke Ave Park in Woolwich Township, NJ. The 8K course is described as a road and trail mix. It includes about 3.1 miles on paved surfaces and 1.9 miles on Tranquility Trails, which includes a 20-foot wide dirt trail and about 200 yards of trail through wooded wetland areas with tree roots. The 5K course is a paved, out-and-back route starting in Locke Ave Park, going through High Hill Park and alongside High Hill Road to Tranquility Trails before turning back. The kids' race is a flat, paved trail within the park.
Logistics and Registration
All events are scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. Bib and shirt pickup occurs on race day from 7:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Everyone who registers receives a race medal. Registrants who sign up before April 15 are guaranteed a race T-shirt; those registering after that date receive a shirt while supplies last. Awards are given to top male and female finishers in the 8K and 5K, as well as for age categories. The event is held rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
