The Running Room New Year’s Run in Edmonton is an in-person and virtual event held on January 10, 2027, at the Running Room location on 8537 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB, Canada. The event includes multiple distance options and a dedicated youth category for the shortest distance.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 1K for participants under 12.

Race kits and finisher items are specified by distance. Every 5K and virtual participant receives a commemorative finisher’s medal and a New Year’s Run blanket. Each 1K participant receives a commemorative finisher’s medal. Virtual finisher items may be shipped for an additional fee; shipping to addresses outside Canada is not offered.
